I'm really pleased with how the packaging turned out. The front and back covers feature two beautiful paintings by Viktor Vasnetsov (1848-1926) - one of which inspired the album title. These are complemented by an interior watercolor painted by the inimitable Eshom Nelms.

The CD comes in a four panel wallet, hand-numbered for authentication. Because this was a test run with a new print house there are only 75 available (less than 10 left as of July '11!). The album can be signed if you'd like, just shoot an email to lostonpurpose@gmail.com after purchasing.

Will began Lost on Purpose in 2003 with a collection of demos ... more and has gone on to release six albums that have been compared, variously, to the likes of Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, The National and Sufjan Stevens. Jacquelyn contributed to 2010's 'A Knight at the Crossroads' and became a full member during the recording of 2011's 'Ashes'. less
